The New Hospital of North Eastern Police Academy was inaugurated during the Passing Out Parade of 40th Basic Course by Shri. Kiren Rijiju,Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs in December,2014.

The Medical Officer as well as the Medical staffs are responsible for giving treatment to the Trainers of the academy and as well as the staffs and families residing at the campus.Apart from NEPA staff, families and trainers they are also responsible for providing treatement to the people of nearby villages.Also sometimes Medical Camp activities are also organised for the people of these villages.Besides a constable is detailed for miscellaneous official works.
